8 hours of sleep in 2 days… (4 + 4)
… and I’m feeling great and with lots of energy to give and share!
A normal sleep cycle stands for 4 hours +-, so it’s easier to feel refreshed after a 4 hour than another non multiple of 4 number of hours.
Two years ago I started working throughout the night and I felt very nauseous when slept a irregular amount of time. But as my mum, that works in shifts, told me it’s normal and I should simply avoid those situations or bear them. Then after some investigation and sharing experiences with my friends I discovered that the 4hour is the best trade of sleep/performance.
BTW - I have a messed up sleeping pattern. If I let myself sleep in I can reach 12hours, with 1 or two ocasional wake ups just to fall asleep again.
